Pick Someone… Anyone and Do This For Them

1 Timothy 2_1

Awaken to body pains, achy joints and a high temp I knew something was wrong. I informed my husband and laid back down. I shared with just one or two people that I wasn’t well. As the day progressed, I said a silent prayer for healing, yet my condition was seeming to become worse. I knew it was time to go to the E.R.

A few days after my trip to the E.R., feeling much better, I stopped by my father’s home to  visit and before I could get out of the car, his neighbor walks swiftly towards me yelling. “Quilla!, Quilla! You scared me.”, I thought, Oh goodness what did I do? “Quilla! I was praying for you, your father told me you were sick.” I wasn’t aware that my father shared with others that I was ill. Hearing her say that, warmed my heart especially because of her concern for me. Yet even more, it blessed me that she prayed.

“The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know.” 1 Tim 2:1

I remember when I was in the last days of my 3rd trimester of pregnancy. Tired, drained and ready to pop. Yet, still so many responsibilities remained. I didn’t want to burden anyone by asking for help, while Brian (my husband was working). Trying to be super mom ;o). A dear friend of mine stopped by my home, and unexpectedly helped me with somethings around my home. She said the Lord led her there to help me. In early morning prayer, God revealed to her who and what was in need. I appreciated her help. She blessed me so. God hears our prayers.

Ladies After Wisdom, the great news of our God is that we can come to him in prayer about anything! The Word tells us to pray about everything and  for everyone. Our leaders, teachers, pastors, schools, nation, doctors, homeless, elders, nieces, nephews, pilots, mailman, plumber and so on. Everyone (even your enemies). When one is affected, we all are affected. Our prayers are needed.

“…the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective”. – James 5:16

Ladies After Wisdom (L.A.W), who are you praying for? Are you praying for anyone besides yourself? You’re family? Your circumstances? Sometimes we can get so caught up in our own affairs, that we tend to forget about others. It’s great inner joying knowing that you are positively and powerfully affecting someone’s life. Begin to pray more. Pick someone. It’s ok not to know who to pray for, just begin with someone you love. Ask God to reveal to you, who is in need of prayer…and He will. L.A.W., I pray for you daily. I love you. All is well.

Read: 1 Timothy 2

Affirmations: I pray for others because my prayers are powerful. Prayer is my passion.

Prayer: Lorrrrrd ;o), it’s me again.Father, I love you! I praise You, just because You are You. You fill my life with joy and I thank You. Father, there are many that need prayer. Place them on my mind and heart so that I may pray for them. Let my prayers not only be for self related issues, yet let my prayers fall upon all issues and needs. Bless me Lord to be sensitive to Your sweet voice, so that I may know where you are leading my prayers.

In Jesus Name Amen

Wonderful!!!! I’ve been walking in this message that God placed in me a little while ago now. “What you pour into others, is a reflection of what lives in you.” Giving our time, ear, shoulder, heart, prayers, love, etc… to those connected by blood or simple moments in our lives, shows the true light of God.
